We tend to attach our happiness to external events, or situations, or conditions... why is that?
We think we'll be happy after we graduate, get a job, get married, retire, etc...
Why do we postpone our happiness perpetually to the future?
Happiness is right here, right now, in the present, in this very moment.
So what are we waiting for?
BE HAPPY NOW!

The Happiness Project:
This semester Art of Living UT is launching this fun new initiative.
A big part of finding inner joy through yoga and meditation is also radiating the positive vibes to our community. The more we share the more the happiness will grow within us and in those around us. Random acts of kindness not only help us connect with people and spread smiles, but they also allow us to grow out of our comfort zones.
The point is to use what we have, bring out our own unique creativity, and share it, spread it, express it!
This will be a service project, where we will go around campus in a group, and hand out handmade cards with inspirational quotes, offer free-hugs, kindly give compliments, and even play music for the people we meet. (Other ideas are also welcome)!
We will be doing this activity for the Mondays that we do not have a room booked for a yoga session. We would love for you and your friends to join! You can come help us make cards and/or help distribute them afterwards. :)
For more details on when/where we are meeting up for this, join our mailing list! Email [email protected] expressing your interest :)
International Happiness Day 2014
Last year on March 20th, International Day of Happiness, our Art of Living officer team went around campus asking people what makes them happy. Visit the Facebook picture album to check out all the awesome people we met: https://www.facebook.com/happinessdayalbum :)
We will be repeating this project this year as well, so look out for it, & let us know if you'd like to join!
